BONEDALE FISHING REPORT #FINAL
BONEDALE FISHING REPORT #FINAL
NOVEMBER
Hombre, bumped into these photos the other day and thought you might appreciate. You guys should do a photo contest of the worst grip & grins, or shots of people launching fish as they try to get that all-important coverage for their pals. I’ll be doing some writing after the damn holidays. Can we agree there’s a God? I’ve had people die in my arms and seen their souls rise.

AUGUST
I’m taking some time off in September to harass the fish that went untouched. Come up gratis amigo and let’s set a date. I would love for you to meet my lead consigliere and fish the water near Parshall, CO. I hooked and landed a 24-inch Bow that flat out took everything I had–caught several bigger, but this was the strongest freshwater fish I’ve ever locked horns with. It took over twenty minutes of ranking to bring the bitch to hand. I had a 7-weight with 22 lb. hard flouro and couldn’t turn her. I was spent by the time it was over. Super cool piece of water with perfect troughs for swinging meat. Gallup [sic] is my new personal hero, even though he wrote a book about trout fishing.

JUNE
I’m thinking we should have floatable water but it’s still a margin call. Which day works best for you? I’ll lock it down. Look forward to seeing you and CJ. Go see Brit Floyd at Red Rocks–greatest rock show of all time.

JANUARY
It will likely be late starts for fishing. Big Midges are rocking the Coli. We’ll head down to the river by 1 p.m. and FISH UNTIL DARK. We’ll have to see what the weather brings. We’ll have to see what the Plastic Jesus says.
