What is the Flylab “basic” membership?

The Flylab “basic” membership provides meaningful savings on flies, gear, boats, guide trips, schools and travel from the best fly shops, outfitters and brands in the fly-fishing industry. This starter plan is for sensible, everyday anglers. The “basic” plan is $25 for life.

What is the Flylab “pro” membership?

The Flylab “pro” membership provides exclusive savings on travel, lodging, outfitters and the best brands in the fly-fishing industry. This premium plan is ideal for travelers, gear heads and serious anglers. The “pro” plan is $120/annually.

Where do I upgrade my membership plan?

To upgrade your membership plan, head to the Flylab home page, sign in to your account, select your profile, then select “plan.”

Do you prorate membership plan upgrades?

Yes, if you upgrade your “basic” membership plan to “pro,” the pro plan amount ($120) will be prorated to $95.

How did you price the “pro” membership?

We did a bunch of market research and found that the average annual spend for U.S. fly fishermen was ~$1,200. And because our average annual discount is ~20%, we felt like $120 was a bargain for an annual subscription, when you balanced that against the savings. If you’re an angler in the market for new gear, trips or travel, a Flylab membership should pay for itself in a few purchases.

Why don’t you have monthly memberships?

We thought about monthly memberships, but also were worried about new members signing up for 30 days, grabbing a bunch of big discounts (which have and are growing), then bailing off the platform. We're hoping users believe in the brand for the long run, and we’ll continually be adding to our exclusive network.

I just signed up. Where are the discounts?

To access your discounts, you must sign in to the Flylab community. After creating an account and password, use the green “community” button and “continue with Flylab.” Inside the community, you’ll find all the deals in “partner discounts.”

How do I access the Flylab community?

Only Flylab members can access the community. After creating an account and password, use the green “community” button and “continue with Flylab” (top nav bar). Inside the community, you’ll find exclusive content, discussions and all your deals for flies, gear, travel and more.

Where do I manage my billing information?

After logging in, Flylab subscribers can manage all of their account and billing information in the “profile” tab. You can find the “profile” tab in the navigation bar.

How do we become a Flylab partner?

Our best-in-class network of fly shops, outfitters and outdoor brands provide exclusive deals to a growing community of Flylab members. Learn more about the Flylab partner program here.

How do we become a Flylab business affiliate?

If you’re a business, or an existing partner, you should read more about our program here and go through the standard business onboarding process through AvantLink, our affiliate platform.

How do I become a Flylab individual affiliate?

If you’re a fishing guide, influencer or content creator, and you feel like you can help Flylab sell $120 memberships to other fly anglers, you’re probably a good fit for the individual affiliate program. Individual affiliates join our commission platform and send us traffic (with custom links) through their websites, social media, or newsletters. If interested in learning more, send us a note here. Important: Do not apply as an individual affiliate through the business affiliate program. Send us a note through the contact form, and we’ll send over a private link, after you make the cut.

Can we advertise with Flylab?
