Redington to Discontinue Wader Production

Redington, a Far Bank brand that has focused on functional, stylish and accessible fly-fishing gear for two decades, announced this week that they will be transitioning away from wading products:

“Bringing quality rods and reels to fly anglers is how we first established our name in the industry more than 30 years ago and that remains our primary focus today. With this in mind, we’ve made the decision to move away from wading products and put our full attention towards the hard goods you have come to rely on since the 90s.”

Here is some information about their warranty policy for existing wader customers:

“Discontinuing our wading products will require a shift in our warranty policy as we will not be able to repair or replace wading products into the future. Moving forward, our wading category warranty policy will be to refund or credit, rather than replace qualifying products.

Redington waders or boots purchased on or after October 1, 2024 that fail due to defects in materials or workmanship within the first 60 days of purchase will be fully refunded under warranty. Our policy for wading products purchased prior to this date can be found on our warranty page.”
